1972 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne 4×4
A repaint in Garnet Red and white using PPG materials was carried out following rust repairs according to the selling dealer. Details include bright side and tailgate moldings with woodgrain inserts, a raised-cowl hood, step bars, and black textured bed liner.
Black 18″ Method Race wheels wear 315/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires. The truck has been lifted 6″ using Skyjacker suspension components, and is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes as well as dual steering stabilizers.
The cab was reupholstered in red vinyl with matching houndstooth cloth inserts, door panels, and carpets, the latter of which are reportedly fitted over Dynamat sound deadener. Amenities consist of an air conditioning system from Classic Auto Air and a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth.
A billet aluminum steering wheel with red accents is mounted to a tilting column. The truck has been fitted with an American Autowire harness, and replacement Intellitronix instruments are housed in a black plastic surround. The digital odometer shows 50 miles, with total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 6.0-liter Vortec V8 features a custom air cleaner setup and was fitted using Dirty Dingo Motorsports mounts. The shaved and tucked engine bay also houses an aluminum radiator under a dimple-holed support.
Additional modifications include a relocated fuel tank and tube headers feeding 2.5″ exhaust pipes with Flowmaster mufflers. A 4L65E automatic transmission routes power through an NP203 dual-range transfer case and 3.73:1 differentials including a 12-bolt rear end. Video footage is viewable below.
